This feels like a natural progression of the story, & it’s interesting in its own right, but it loses some of the magic of the tight focus of season 1. The pacing is inconsistent.
The trauma Fushi suffered in s1 continues to haunt him and inform the way he sees others, and how he acts towards them. I like the character development and complexity introduced to them, the villains, & the plot - all of which are continuing to get stronger throughout Cour 2, currently airing.
